Navigation Trials

DESCRIPTION - Teams will be given a list of coordinates for hidden waypoints and a time limit to find as many points as possible. Each set of coordinates will be assigned a points value based on difficulty and distance. The team with the most points wins.

Time-Speed-Distance Trial

DESCRIPTION - Teams will be given a chart describing a long road course in very short sections. Each section description will consist of an object, a speed, and a distance. For examle: Four way stop, turn right - as, 20 - .5mi. This means turn right, continue at an average speed of 20 mph, next object in .5 miles. The course will have no definite finish line, so you must run as close to scheduled time as possible. You will lose as many points for finishing early as finishing late.

Obstacle Course

DESCRIPTION - Just like it sounds, test your driving skills and your vehicle's ability by completing a challenging course.

Extraction Challenge

DESCRIPTION - Test your winch and study your manual. Earn points by completing the extraction challenge quickly and properly. Points will be awarded for time and technique.

DESCRIPTION - You shoot 'em we'll keep score. Trap, skeet, or whatever, just be ready to aim and fire.

Navigator's Challenge

DESCRIPTION - This is a chance for the navigator to show off some driving ability, while the driver navigates.

Mystery Challenge

DESCRIPTION - We know what it is, and you don't. That's why we call it a mystery challenge.
